Fuelled by long site walks, stubborn detailing and a refusal to specify anything we would not live with ourselves.
Turning “we want it calm, but not cold” into a complete material world you never want to leave.
Elite Decofe began in 2013 with a single conviction: that luxury is not an accumulation of expensive objects, but the absence of anything unconsidered. Twelve years and two hundred and fifty projects later, that conviction has only sharpened.
Our forty designers, drafters and project managers work from one studio in Bandra. We keep detailing, procurement and site supervision in-house because the gap between a drawing and a built room is where most interiors quietly fail.
We take on roughly twenty projects a year. Not because we cannot take more, but because the principal visits every site, every week, and there are only so many weeks.
Whether we are detailing a single kitchen or delivering a forty-two key hotel, the drawings are held to the same tolerance.
Apartments and family homes designed around how you actually live — light, circulation and material warmth resolved before a single finish is chosen.
Ground-up villas where we work alongside your architect from the earliest massing studies, so the inside and the outside were never two decisions.
German hardware, Italian stone, Indian craftsmanship. Kitchens detailed to the millimetre and built to survive twenty years of daily use.
Workplaces designed around acoustics, daylight and quiet status — from boutique studios to headquarters floors for two hundred people.
Hotels, restaurants and clubhouses conceived as a complete guest journey, with operations and durability written into the design from day one.
Design, procurement, execution and styling under a single agreement — you receive keys to a finished, furnished, photographed home.
Two hundred and fifty more, delivered quietly.
Every surface we specify is rendered here as it behaves in real light. Drag to rotate the sample; hover to warm the studio lighting.
Book-matched slabs with grey-gold veining. Honed to 400 grit so the surface reads soft rather than reflective.
Every project runs on the same spine, from a 1,200 square foot apartment to a forty-two key hotel. You always know which stage you are in, and what comes next.
A written brief precedes every drawing. A weekly report follows every site visit. Nothing about our process is improvised.
We sit with you, walk the site, and listen far longer than we speak. The output is a written brief you approve before any design begins.
Spatial strategy, material direction and a narrative. We present two distinct directions — never a safe option and a decoy.
Photoreal renders and a walkthrough at true scale, so you approve a space you have effectively already stood inside.
Tender, procurement and site. Our project managers are on site three times a week with a weekly written report in your inbox.
Art, objects, textiles and scent. The layer that separates a completed project from a home somebody actually lives in.
Snag-free handover, a maintenance dossier for every material, and a two-year studio warranty on all bespoke work.
They spent three weeks understanding how we live before showing a single drawing. That patience is visible in every room of this house.
Our headquarters had to feel serious without shouting. Elite Decofe understood the difference between luxury and noise immediately.
A 42-key hotel delivered on schedule, on budget, and with a soul. In hospitality, all three at once is genuinely rare.
We handed over a bare shell and travelled. Two hundred and eleven days later we walked into a finished home. Nothing was left for us to do.
As the project architect I have worked with many interior studios. Very few draw as precisely, or defend a detail as stubbornly, as this one.
The kitchen has been used every day for two years. It still looks and works exactly as it did on the first morning.
Worli, 2,400 sq ft. Nine partitions removed, one structural core kept, fourteen weeks on site.
Tell us about the space, the people who will live in it, and when you would like to move in. We will tell you honestly whether we are the right studio for it.
